What RICA rules apply when purchasing Vox LTE?
Your RICA documents will be required upon ordering Vox LTE which are:
- Certified Copy of your ID
- Proof of Address not older than 3 months
Will I be signing a termed contract?
Vox LTE is a month-to-month product.
What hardware can I use with my Vox LTE?
- A ZTE MF296C Wi-Fi router can be purchased outright at R1895.00.
- A ZTE MF286C Wi-Fi router can be added as a rental with your Vox LTE SIM-only package for R85 per month. Please note that the router rental option is only available for 200GB or higher packages.
Please note that should the package be cancelled on a router rental option, a R300 router collection fee applies. You can also use your own compatible router - any of the below routers:

Absolutely! The following top-ups are available for Vox LTE customers, via the Vox Customer Zone. Please allow for 24-48 hours for processing of the order.

Does Vox MTN Uncapped LTE have a Fair Usage Policy?
Yes there is an FUP (Fair Usage Policy). In order to protect customers on its network, Vox will reduce the speed of heavy users.
10Mbps Uncapped LTE FUP:
Should you reach 400GB of usage, Vox will reduce the speed on the product to 1Mbps.
No Speed Limit LTE FUP:
Should you reach 1000GB of usage, Vox will reduce the speed on the product to 1Mbps.
Does my data rollover?
Unused Anytime and Night time data rolls over until the end of the following month.
When is my Night time Data available?
Night time data is available from Midnight to 06h00 daily.
Can I view my usage?
Yes you can view your data usage by logging into the Vox Customer Zone portal and set up usage notifications via email or SMS.

Is there a charge for delivery or activation?
The standard activation and delivery fee for MTN LTE from Vox is R99.00 incl VAT.
Can I move with my Vox MTN LTE?
Yes, you can set up a secondary location for your Vox MTN LTE which means you have the ability to take your MTN approved router and SIM with you to a location that has MTN Fixed LTE coverage. The secondary location should be captured on the Vox Customer Portal before travelling there.
How to change a secondary location:
1) Check the feasibility of the secondary location address before making the change on https://shop.vox.co.za/dsltelecom
2) If the desired address is feasible, log onto your Vox Customer Portal.
3) Once on the Customer Portal, select the MTN LTE line item you are wanting to change.
4) Select 'edit' under secondary location,
5) Insert the feasible address for the secondary location
6) Select 'update'
7) The secondary location has now been changed.
