DDSL Telecom provides the latest technology products and support services to SME customers across South Africa. We operate a national agent network which offers local support to our customers and allows for centralisation of key customer services like billing, tech-support and admin.
Originally the company was founded as an independent connectivity consultancy in 2004 called Virtual Voice Telecom. Broadband Internet was rolling out across Africa, rapidly changing the way that business was conducted. Late 2004 voice over IP (VoIP) was legalised in South Africa and drawing from first world experiences, the founder, Dean Schreuder, wanted to bring the obvious advantages of IP telephony to the South African market.
In 2009 research and development on the IP-PBX telephony software was completed and we took to market a stable, reliable and cost effective telephone system, packed with features and limitless possibilities. We combined the product with a service based strategy and through our national agent network we partnered with hundreds of business customers across SA, enabling them to become more efficient and grow as a result of using open source software.
